I build the world first, then the story that lives in it.

I’m Enrico Poli, an experience director and narrative designer based in Bologna. My work lives where story, visual language and systems meet: games and interactive environments, installations, and films.

I started as a writer and director — fifteen films, more than fifty festival selections and awards — and moved into interactive work because I wanted audiences to walk into the worlds instead of watching them. Today I design those worlds end to end: the concept, the look, the rules, and more often than not the build.

I also lead generative-AI production for brands, working with agencies such as Publicis Groupe UK, where AI is a tool for previs, look development and fast prototyping — never the idea itself.
